French Grand Prix 2018 Accommodation

The French Grand Prix 2018 returns to the Formula 1 circuit in 2018 for the first time in 10 years!

France hosted the first ever Grand Prix in 1908 and it’s going to be a welcome return to this fabulous motorsport with the 2018 French Grand Prix due to be held at the Circuit Paul Ricard at Le Castellet near Marseille in the south of France.

The last Grand Prix to be held at the Circuit Paul Ricard took place in 1990 and it will be a welcome return when the sound of F1 cars can be heard once again at this famous track for the eighth round of the 2018 F1 season.

The race date for the French Grand Prix 2018 has been set for the 24th June 2018. The whole event will take the classic 3 day race format with the qualifying stage taking place on the 23rd June 2018 and free practice taking place on the 22nd and 23rd June 2018. Spectators will also be able to immerse themselves in Formula One with events taking place on Thursday 21st June 2018.

French Grand Prix 2018 Accomodation

2018 will see many travellers heading off to France to see the Grand Prix due to the fact it’s fairly local to the UK and also that it’s been missing from the racing season for so long. Luckily there are many different accommodation types available from gites, hotels and B&B’s to apartments and campsites.

Although many people will opt for hotels, we believe that camping offers the ideal opportunity not only to stay close to the action but also to have a great family holiday at the same time. If not all of your family are as interested in F1 as you then campsites offers a brilliant alternative to a hotel with a great deal of different activities being available, not to mention the brilliant swimming pool complexes.
