Those looking for a bit of history mixed with stunning views should take a trip to see the Vieux Chateau which can be found along the cliff top. One of the best things about Ile d’Yeu are the many beaches and cycle tracks around the island, so get on your bike, find a nice secluded beach and relax.
A great place to visit whilst staying at Camping la Foret is the Chateau d’Apremont. Located only 36km to the west of the campsite, the Chateau offers visitors the chance to experience some of the areas history.
