Travelling to France

Travelling to France has never been easier but planning is still required prior to setting off for your holiday destination. Your decision on how you get to your chosen campsite will depend on two factors, where in France you intend to holiday and how much driving you are prepared to do, if any. Many of the campsites we feature are easy to reach from one of the cross channel ferry ports or airports, so however you decide to travel, you’ll find it incredibly easy to reach your destination. We’ve listed below the various options that are available to you:

By Ferry

The most common choice of travelling to France is of course by one of the ferry companies such as Brittany Ferries, P&O Ferries, DFDS Seaways or Irish Ferries. There are a range of options available when it comes to travelling across the channel, with a selection of departure and arrival points which will vary depending upon where you wish to travel from and where your final destination is.

We come across some people that are not keen on the idea of travelling by ferry. If you are of the same opinion then why not book your travel to France by Eurotunnel.
