Camping International Paris 2016

Camping International at Maisons Laffitte near Paris was our choice for a stopover campsite this summer. We had decided to cross the English Channel from Dover to Calais on a midday crossing and as our first main campsite was Saint Avit Loisirs in the Dordogne, we decided that we wanted to stay somewhere near to Paris to allow us a shorter journey the following day.

Les Ormes, formally known as Domaine des Ormes or Chateau des Ormes is a campsite located in Dol de Bretagne, Brittany that we recently visited during the Easter break. We booked Les Ormes as it opens at the beginning of April and offers, not only a wide range of on site activities but also because of its location and the wide range of places to visit nearby.

Camping Le Chateau des Marais campsite provides a wonderful setting for young families looking for the ideal place to go camping in France. The campsite enjoys a peaceful setting amongst woodland, in the grounds of a very impressive manor house. Ideally suited to those with younger families it's relatively small with around 230 pitches, all of which are fairly generous in size.
