Chateau d’Usse is a fairytale Chateau which lies only 26km to the east of Domaine de la Breche campsite along La Loire river. The Chateau was constructed in the 15th Century however there has been a Chateau or castle on the site since the 11th Century. The current building features a variety of towers and spires and it’s thought that this was one of the Chateaux that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.
