The campsite is set within an unbelievable location in the heart of the countryside. It lies in 45 hectares of wooded parkland and fields, in the beautiful grounds of Chateau de La Josephtrie.
Some of the old estate buildings have been lovingly restored to create many of the facilities. The grounds are extremely well landscaped and maintained with a whole variety of different types of trees, flowers and plants to offer you a real feeling of luxury.
One of the great things about the campsite is that it boasts a fantastic range of things to do on-site. Furthermore it’s also perfect for those looking to use their campsite as a base to explore the surrounding area. This is because there are plenty of places nearby to cater for any taste or interest.
If you’re looking for a family friendly beach to visit then you won’t have to look too far. Just 5km from the campsite you’ll find a pleasant beach at Marennes that has a lovely sheltered bay. The beach boasts lots of soft golden sand and is perfect for families of all ages and abilities.
Families love the campsite not just for the beach because it also has a fantastic swimming pool complex.
Firstly there are 4 brilliant swimming pools to enjoy. Secondly there is a lazy river and selection of slides. Finally there’s a variety of sun terracing for those who prefer to sun bathe.
