Perros-Guirec is a very popular seaside resort that has plenty of soft sandy beaches. This part of Brittany is known as the Côte de Granit Rose. This is because of the large number of pink granite rocks that are all over the coastline. They stretch from Plestin-les-Grèves all the way to Louannec.
The pink granite was also used in the construction of important buildings in the area for hundreds of years. Buildings made with the granite include Saint-Jaques church and the Chapelle Notre Dame de la Clarté.
Le Ranolien Campsite
Camping Le Ranolien is part of the Yelloh Village group of campsites. Their campsites are some of the best in France and in addition to their good locations have some great activities and facilities.
The location of the campsite is one of it’s best features. This is because it’s within walking distance of the coast. Views from the campsite are lovely and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.
The beautiful Cote de Granit Rose is a nature lovers paradise but the area is most popular with walkers and hikers due to the location of the coastal footpath.
There are two wonderful sandy beaches nearby that are great for families. The first, although small is just 10 minutes’ walk away. The second is slightly further afield but is only 20 minutes away. The best beach is at Perros-Guirec and is popular because it has lots of bars, cafes and restaurants to explore. Both beaches are great for a day out with lots of things to do. Search the rock pools for a variety of sea creatures or build sandcastles, the choice is yours!
The swimming pool complex at Le Ranolien campsite is far ahead of others in the area. It’s perfect for family holidays because it has 6 swimming pools and a many great slides. Furthermore, there is also plenty of sun terrace for sunbathing and relaxing.

There are lots of places to visit near to the campsite. Some of the best include the Aquarium Marin de Tregastel, Perros-Guirec, Lannion and the Planetarium de Bretagne.
