The campsite is ideal for those who don’t wish to travel too far from their arrival port. Cherbourg is 41km to the northeast and is perfect for anyone travelling to France from Portsmouth, Rosslare or Dublin.
This lovely campsite is just on the outskirts of Barneville-Carteret which is a lovely place to visit. This great little seaside resort has a beautiful beach and plenty of pleasant restaurants, shops and things to do. You’ll also find that there is a ferry service operating between Barneville-Carteret and the Channel Islands. This in itself is great for a special day out.
Those looking to explore the nearby area should make the most of it. There are many lovely quaint villages, seaside resorts and towns to check out. Furthermore, there’s also all of the thought provoking WW2 sites that are within a short distance.
Approximately 400m away from the campsite you’ll discover a large, sandy, family friendly beach which stretches out as far as the eye can see and also benefits from views over towards the Channel Islands. If you enjoy a day at the beach and love to have fun swimming, sunbathing and playing games, this great beach is definitely worth a visit.
The swimming pool complex is perfect for families with an indoor and outdoor heated pool, a balneotherapy area, water slides and a sun terrace for sunbathing.
