A Fun-Filled Family Holiday at Camping Le Chene Gris
If you’re looking to go camping in France this year look no further than a fun-filled family holiday at Camping Le Chene Gris.
Last summer, our family of five – two adults and three children – travelled to France on another camping adventure. This time spending time in the beautiful French countryside, staying at Camping Le Chene Gris.
From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The campsite was surrounded by rolling hills, fields of wildflowers, and ancient oak trees. The air was crisp and fresh, and the sun was shining!
The Accommodation: Cosy Mobile Homes
We quickly settled into our Cosy Mobile Home, which was equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids were thrilled to have their own separate bedrooms again, complete with bunk beds.
Meanwhile, my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of our own private space, complete with a comfortable double bed and a view of the surrounding countryside.
The Activities: Fun For All Ages
Over the course of our stay, we had plenty of fun activities to keep us entertained. We spent lazy afternoons lounging by the pool, taking refreshing dips in the cool water, playing with the kids and soaking up the sun.
The kids made new friends at the pool and the playground, and we all enjoyed friendly games of boules.
Nearby Attractions: Disneyland Paris
One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Disneyland Paris, which was just a short drive away from the campsite.
We spent a full day exploring the magical theme park, riding rollercoasters like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, meeting beloved Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Elsa from Frozen, and indulging in delicious snacks like churros and popcorn.
During our time in France we decided to visit Paris again and take in the sight and sounds of the city. We managed to revisit some of the top attractions, including the iconic Eiffel Tower, the breathtaking Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the world-famous Louvre Museum.
Back At The Campsite: The Restaurant And Bar
Back at the campsite, we visited the restaurant and bar. We sampled the local French cuisine and the children had pizza and chips! To drink the kids had fresh lemonade and fruit juice, while we sipped on chilled glasses of rosé.
In the evenings, we played board games in our mobile home and listened to music. The kids went to bed early, tired from a busy day. We had A Fun-Filled Family Holiday at Camping Le Chene Gris and we’ll definitely be coming back!
On several occasions we took advantage of the bread delivery service. We had had French baguettes and fresh croissants delivered right to our doorstep. It was a delicious way to start the day.
