Camping in France on a budget

Camping in France needn’t be expensive and if you’re on a budget we’ve put together some tips to help you find the perfect family holiday. Booking a budget camping holiday doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on the quality of accommodation or facilities at your chosen campsite, it just means you have to be a little clever with when, where and with whom you book your holiday.

Stopover Hotels

Whether you’re planning to travel to the north, south or central France, there’s one thing you may wish to consider and that’s booking a stopover hotel. We have travelled to many different parts of France at various times of the year and each and every time we’ve travelled we’ve always thought about booking a stopover at a hotel en-route.

Saint Avit Loisirs Charge Card

The Saint Avit Loisirs charge card is a very clever idea which we haven’t come across before on our travels camping in France. Saint Avit Loisirs is a brilliant campsite which we visited this summer and can be found near to Le Bugue in the Dordogne region of France. When we arrived at the campsite we booked into reception and were informed about the Saint Avit Loisirs Charge Card.

Saint Avit Loisirs Dordogne

Saint Avit Loisirs in the Dordogne was the first major campsite we decided to visit on our summer holiday in 2016. The Dordogne is certainly one of our favourite regions of France and this is down to it’s wonderful rivers, scenery, history and of course the weather. We chose Saint Avit Loisirs for one reason and that is due to it’s wonderful swimming pool complex.

Eurocamp France

Eurocamp are one of the largest suppliers of family holidays to France and it’s quite clear that Eurocamp loves France and our customers love Eurocamp. A lot has change over the past 40 years since Eurocamp started and that’s what makes them great. Change is a good thing especially when it’s done in the right areas.
