The campsite lies in the parklands of a Chateau, in the heart of the countryside in the forest of Guines.
Standing in 18 hectares the campsite is very spacious and offers plenty of space for families. Being part of the Castels group of campsites means the campsite and all of its facilities are of a high standard. It also offers lots of space to spread out, explore and most of all relax and have fun.
The campsite is exceptionally well placed for those who are looking for somewhere close to the channel ferry port of Calais. There are several reasons as to why you may wish to stay at the campsite. Firstly it could be because you’re looking for a campsite to use as a stopover before travelling further into France. Secondly you could want to use it prior to returning home to the UK. Finally you might not want to travel too far or you just might want to explore all that Picardy has to offer. Whatever your reason, it’s a lovely family friendly campsite that pretty much ticks all the boxes.
As it’s in the countryside you’ll notice that it doesn’t have direct access to a beach. What you will find however is that the beautiful Picardy coastline lies only 15km away. Here you’ll find lots of gorgeous beaches waiting to be explored. The beaches along the northern coast can be reached in a relatively short time and once there you’ll find long and wide expanses of sand covered beaches that literally stretch out for miles and miles.

Back on-site you’ll find that the campsite offers a lovely swimming pool area which is great for families. A heated family pool, with a retractable roof, allows swimmers to enjoy the water in all weathers, a children’s pool and a slide are all present and so that you can have a little adult time, right next to the pool, you’ll find a lovely terrace area and bar where you can relax and watch the children playing and swimming.
