A lakeside paradise with an epic water park!
If your ideal Eurocamp holiday involves water sports, lake views, and agreat pool complex, La Rive in Biscarrosse is the perfect choice. We’ve personally stayed here twice and loved every minute of it.
The swimming complex is clean, modern and has lots of things for all the family. There are heated indoor pools including a toddler water play area, an outdoor pool, lane pool for swimming and an indoor wave pool.
In addition there is also a large slide with intermittent pools and a large splash park area complete with water slides and a giant bucket that spills water onto you throughout the day.
The rest of the facilities are also fantastic with lots a great play area for younger ones and a football area which our kids loved.
However, the best thing about La Rive is the direct access to the lake and the campsites lakeside beach. Our kids spent most evenings playing in the sand, throwing a ball around in the shallow water and on our second trip paddle boarding.

We’ve stayed her before and our kids loved the amount of outdoor space to enjoy.
There’s so much to do here and nearby that we guarantee you won’t get bored, from the fantastic swimming pool complex to the lake and treetop adventure course.
Add to all of this the great facilities, on site golf course and its distance to St Malo, Mont St Michel and the aquarium at St Malo (which is great for little ones) and Alligator bay you’ll be constantly busy!

From canoeing down the Dordogne near La Roque Gageac, to visiting Chateau de Castelnaud on the hill and the Maison Forte de Reignac built into the cliffs with his museum of torture there really is something for everyone.

We stayed here recently and it has one of the largest water parks in the region and France. It’s perfect for kids, teens, and adults who love excitement but the campsite is on a hill.

Perfect for toddlers & kids who love water fun!
Located in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, Vendée, Le Clarys Plage is an excellent choice for families with young children.
This is another campsite we’ve visited on multiple occasions over the years.
The campsite features a fantastic pool complex which has been renovated for the 2025 season with new pools and new slides to keep the campsite fresh and modern.
A five minute walk from the campsite is one of the best family friendly beaches we’ve visited. It’s long, covered in golden sand and has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.
We’ve spent many hours, when the children were younger, playing in the sand, building sandcastles or collecting shells.
The playgrounds on the site are also great for children offering lots of space and activities for them during the evenings.

The campsite offers a great range of facilities and activities on site and has a lovely swimming pool area.
Our main reason for choosing it is the it has something for everyone. It has a good swimming pool, there’s a fantastic beach not too far and the other activities on site are also good.
You’ll also find that its perfect for those not wanting to travel too far from the ferry and more importantly you can reach all of the D-Day sites fairly easily from the campsite.
During our visit we went to Utah Beach museum, St Mere Eglise and Grandcamp Maisy Battery, three of the main sites to visit.
