Le Chateau des Marais
Camping Le Chateau des Marais campsite provides a wonderful setting for young families looking for the ideal place to go camping in France.
The campsite enjoys a peaceful setting amongst woodland, in the grounds of a very impressive manor house. We think the campsite is ideally suited to those with younger families as it is relatively small with around 230 pitches, all of which are fairly generous in size.
Childrens clubs are also available at the campsite providing exciting activities to give you the chance to relax.

If you are worried that a smaller site won’t have the facilities you need, then we can put your mind at rest. There is a superb pool complex with several pools, a lazy river and slides. One of the pools even has a retractable roof.
The on-site facilities don’t stop just with the pools. There are several play parks, an indoor games room and various outdoor activities such as tennis, football and mini golf.
This campsite is an ideal place for children to ride around on their bikes and scooters due to the layout and so don’t forget to take them with you.
Set in the Loire, you would expect to see some pretty impressive chateaux and we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The nearby chateaux of Chambord and Blois are not far away with Chambord being a mere 9km and Blois only 18.7km.
When you have finished your day in the pool or sightseeing, Le Chateau des Marais continues to provide the perfect holiday setting with it’s on site facilities.
At the campsite you will find a bar, restaurant and take away which serves pizza, chicken, chips and other such food to ensure that you don’t have to spend hours slaving over the cooker and giving you the time to relax with your locally bought bottle of wine.
