Campsites in Brittany
At Go Camp France we love the campsites in Brittany for 3 main reasons. Firstly for the short crossing time from the UK. Secondly for the beautiful stretches of coastline, both sandy and rocky and finally for the wealth of attractions and things to do such as the ancient stones at Carnac and the fortified castle Fort La Latte.
We love Brittany and we know you'll love it too!

Exploring the region...
Brittany is one of the most popular places to go on a family camping holiday in France. Why? we hear you ask...
Could it be the the long standing, close links between the British Iles and Brittany...spanning back to the days of cross channel trading...the immigration into the area during the dark ages...? Or could it be the spectacular cuisine on offer, including the regions crepes, cider and freshly caught local seafood.
Maybe it's simply because Brittany as a region has three unique coastlines, each of which provides a completely different type of camping holiday destination!
Just a short drive from many of the ports is the north coast of Brittany. With it's seaside resorts, jutting headlands and soft sandy beaches Brittany is a must visit for any family wishing to go camping in France and benefits from being easily accessible via Roscoff or St Malo.
The neighbouring region of Normandy is home to the ports of Cherbourg, Caen and Le Harve. Alternatively, the south coast of Brittany has a more a milder climate with equally stunning beaches plus the addition of lush river valleys and woodlands.
The west coast is the most dramatic where it borders the Atlantic with its crashing waves and spectacular rock formations. The region is also home to numerous picturesque villages and towns including its capital Quimper which is steeped in medieval history, culture and folklore.
Whether you go camping in Brittany as a family, couple or on your own you'll find that the region has lots to offer!
